MEDIA BLASTING
Media blasting is a proces where a various dry abrasives can be used. Media blasting is ideal for steal parts where rust and paint removal is required ready for powder coating or painting
VAPOUR BLASTING
Vapour blasting is more gentle than media blasting with a more even finish. Vapour blasting is less abrasive than media blasting making it ideal for aluminium casings , carburettor bodies and various engine parts.
PAINT REMOVAL
We offer paint removal of larger items like motorcycle frames using media blasting. This process is great preparation before powder coating or painting as it removes all paint , grime and rust.
ULTRA SONIC CLEANING
This proces using ultra sonic waves and special cleaning fluids is perfect for carburettors and any other component that is difficult to clean internally. It will remove varnish and deposits allowing the item to function as new. Although this proces will clean the outside it will not leave it looking like new. To restore the item to as new condition we recommend vapour blasting. After vapour blasting we also ultra sonic clean to be sure all internals are clear of media.
POWDER COATING
Powder coating is a proces where electrically charged dry powder coats the item and is then baked in an oven leaving a even long lasting finish. A wide variety of items can be powder coated but is particularly ideal for wheels and motorcycle frames. We can powder coat in a wide variety of colours.
WET PAINT
We wet paint mainly using 2k paints and primers. For added corrosion resistance we can also start the process with epoxy primer if requested. We can paint almost anything. We would usually paint thin metal items and plastics like fuel tanks , side panels , mudguards and car parts like mirrors , bumpers and spoilers due to not needing hight heat to cure the paint which can warp thin metals and melt plastics.
